Frequently asked questions

How does the weekly schedule work?

The Schedule tab shows the current anime season as a 7‑day calendar starting from today. Tap a day to see every episode airing that day in your local time, with a countdown to the next episode. Shows without a confirmed slot are grouped under TBA.

Why does it only show Fantasy anime?

The genre filter defaults to Fantasy. Tap All (or any other genre) in the chip row at the top to change it — the filter applies across the Schedule, Next, Year and Upcoming tabs.

What are Next, Year and Upcoming?

The Search tab asks for a TMDB API key — why?

Movie & TV search is powered by TMDB, which requires each user to have their own free key. It takes about two minutes:

  1. Create a free account at themoviedb.org.
  2. Go to Settings → API and request a key (choose "Developer").
  3. Copy the value labelled API Key (v3 auth) — the short one, not the long "Read Access Token".
  4. Paste it into the Search tab and tap Save. It's stored only on your device.

"TMDB rejected that key"

You most likely pasted the API Read Access Token (v4), which starts with eyJ…. Go back to TMDB's API settings and copy the API Key (v3 auth) instead.

Times look wrong

Air times are converted to your device's local time zone automatically. If they look off, check that your iPhone's date, time and time zone are set correctly in Settings.

How do I remove my TMDB key?

Deleting the app removes it. Nothing about your key is stored anywhere else.
